Clapouse is my favourite canyon for family trips: optional small jumps, natural waterslides and water play in a playful, reassuring setting. The easy access from Jausiers makes it an ideal half-day discovery trip with children from age 8. If you want more, the Clapouse gorge is included in the Discovery package and offers a fuller progression, still in an accessible atmosphere. A family classic not to miss during a stay in the Ubaye.

Canyoning at Clapouse
The Clapouse canyon is one of the best-kept secrets of the Ubaye valley. Its upper section, very accessible, makes it one of the best family-initiation canyons in the area. Its gorge, more technical, offers a varied sequence for motivated beginners.
